Fast Food - a listening and vocabulary exercise for ESL students

h

Here is an interesting video you can use for one of your listening comprehension exercises. The conversation is between two men and takes place in a fast-food restaurant. Before giving this exercise, you can first have a short vocabulary exercise by giving your student words or idioms that might come up in the conversation such as "it will grow on you" and "a heart appetite/eater". One more thing you can do is to let your students practice saying some lines from the conversation to help them improve their pronunciation and voice intonations. What's nice about this video is that it also includes 5 short comprehension questions about the video. I hope you also find this useful. Cheers to us ESL tutors!
